Butter Dip Buttermilk Biscuits

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cup buttermilk (must be buttermilk, not regular milk)
  • NOTE:
  • ( You can skip the sugar and just use self-rising flour, buttermilk, and the butter . )

  2. Preheat oven to 450F degrees.

  14. You won’t get it perfectly even, but hey, that’s okay, these are homemade, remember? Some of the butter will run over the top of the dough, that’s perfectly okay.
