  • 2 cans Garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • Optional:
  • Paprika
  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas
  2. Optional: remove skins - I like to remove them for a smoother finish and less blending
  3. Add chickpeas and water to food processor and blend for 3 min or until smooth
  4. Add Tahini and blend for another min
  5. Add pressed garlic, salt, lemon, and olive oil and blend for a few min until completely mixed
  6. Scrape side and blend for another few seconds
  7. Chill until ready to serve
  8. Serve with additional olive oil and paprika if desired
